This isn't a course library. It's a coalition.

Every dollar spent inside The Neighborhood funds the work of putting students with disabilities in rooms where decisions are being made.

Every Block Party, every workshop, every conversation is in service of one mission: pushing back on ableism and segregation in schools.

If you're a teacher who's tired of professional development that treats inclusion as an add-on — this is for you.

If you're tired of buying classroom resources designed by people who've never sat with a kid who learns differently — this is for you.

If you're ready to do the work alongside other teachers who refuse to settle — this is for you.

  • Monthly Block Parties:

Three days. Nine workshops. Every month. Friday evening, Saturday afternoon, Sunday afternoon EST. Designed for classroom teachers — no school-hours conflicts. Led live by Brittany. Recordings for every tier.

  • A Growing Community:

One tier. One price. For everyone. Community memberships are $10.99/month with recording and resource library, connection with other teachers doing this work, and so much more.

  • Real Artifacts:

PD that produces a real thing. Workshops you can use Monday morning. Workbooks. Frameworks. The kind of PD that ends with a tool in your hand — not a certificate on your wall.

FOUNDER NOTE

Hi. I'm Brittany. I'm a teacher, and I built The Neighborhood because I needed it.

Every professional development space I've walked into has treated inclusion like a topic to cover, not a paradigm shift in approaching teaching. I struggled to find a community where I could be my authentic auDHD self and where I could learn and organize for change in the classroom. The Neighborhood originally opened in 2024 and closed when it merged into the Vilage in 2025. We are reopening with help from every teacher who joins the waitlist.

Whatever your role — classroom teacher, special educator, instructional coach, administrator, family member, future teacher — if you believe systemic change needs to happen and you want to do that through learning and educating you belong here.

— Britt

  • Live US Tour

This work is heading on the road. After three years of virtual, The Neighborhood will be going live across the country.

  • Global Community

Our work has no borders. We're building a Neighborhood of teachers across the globe — connecting educators in the US, Australia, and beyond who want their classrooms to be inclusive spaces for neurodivergent students.

  • Youtube Library

We are beefing up our Youtube library to include helpful videos that will accompany The Neurodivergent and ADHD Toolkits.
